All indicators are published from StatsSA's monthly P0141 release. Weight is the share of the parent basket (headline for Key indicators, the D4–7 middle-income basket for Composite sub-indices). Latest Month and Previous Month show YoY% for the two most recent reporting months. Latest-month badges use the sign of the YoY plus whether it rose or fell versus last month (orange ↓ cooling inflation, red ↑ rising inflation, green ↓ deepening deflation, blue ↑ easing deflation). Δ MoM is the month-on-month change in the YoY rate (Latest − Previous, in percentage points). Rows are banded into the three D4–7 sub-indices (CNI / SEI / NEI); National Headline and Middle-Income (D4–7) sit pinned at the top, outside the bands. The 24-month sparkline uses the same colour as the Latest Month badge.
